Worship is Something that Must Be Biblical
·       Exodus 28:6 -- “And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and of fine twined linen, skillfully worked.
·       Exodus 39:2 -- He made the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen
·       We want what we do in worship to be pleasing to God. The best way to do that is by being biblical (ex. in what we sing, Scripture read and proclaimed, our prayers, the Lord’s Supper).

The Word of God is Something to Be Obeyed
·       v.1b -- They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
·       As the Lord had commanded Moses” =  7x’s repeated (v.1, 5, 7, 21, 26, 27, 31)
·       Matt 4:4 --  But he answered, “It is written, “ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”
·       James 1:22-24 -- 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.

The Word of God that is So Precious
·       v.1b -- They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
·       The Goodness of expository preaching.

The Great High Priest We All Desperately Need
·       v.6-7 -- They made the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold filigree, and engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel. And he set them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
·       v.14 -- 14 There were twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They were like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.
