Exodus 39:32-43

 

Outline:

·       God’s Word is Sufficient to Teach Us God’s Will (v.32, 42)
·       Truly Coming to God is Impossible for Man to Earn (v.33-41)
·       The God Who Comes Down to Be with Us Every Step of the Way (v.43) 

God’s Word is Sufficient to teach us God’s Will (v.32, 42)
·       v.32 -- 32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did.
·       v.42 -- 42 According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work.
·       The Sufficiency of Scripture
o   2 Tim 3:15 -- 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
o   2 Tim 3:16  16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

Truly Coming to God is Impossible for Man to Earn (v.33-41)

The God Who Comes Down to Be with Us Every Step of the Way (v.43)
·       v.43 -- 43 And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.
o   Gen 1:31 -- 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
o   Gen 2:3 -- 3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy…
·       v.33 -- 33 Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its utensils, its hooks, its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases…
o   The point of having a Tabernacle that could be so easily moved from place to place, was that wherever Israel moved, they had a God who was willing to go with them every step of the way.
