Missions Ministry

At CrossLife, everyone is encouraged to live a missional lifestyle in obedience to Christ. We are actively engaged in missions by praying, going, sending, welcoming, and mobilizing. Our aim is to join Jesus in bringing God's truth and love to the nations.

Upcoming missions trips - see sections below for more information:

  • Taiwan - 7/1-7/14
  • Arizona - 7/5-7/13

Every summer, a team ministers to the indigenous children of Taiwan through VBS and ministry to the elderly. Please see Ronald or Grace Yuan for details.  They can be reached at missions@crosslifecc.com.

The team is now in Taiwan from 7/1 to 7/14Please pray:

  • for both teams as they work out the details of the VBS curriculum during planning meetings - Bible stories, visuals, handcrafts, Bible Sword Drill, learning centers, and translation into Chinese;
  • that the Gospel will go forth;
  • that God will be magnified and made known to the kids;
  • for safety and good health for the two teams as well as the children who will be attending;
  • that they will be able to procure all of their supplies and materials there in Taiwan.

This summer, we will be serving alongside long-term missionaries in Hirosaki, Aomori.  A team of four will be spending two weeks learning, praying, and serving in a variety of ways.  Please pray for us!  We pray that:

  • all team members will listen to God's leading in how they may be called to serve the people of Japan.
  • our team will disciple one another before, during, and after the trip.
  • God will be glorified in whatever He wants to do in and through each team member.

For more information, please see Eric or Kelly Farrow.  They can be reached at missions@crosslifecc.com.

Lao Isaan People of Thailand -

our adopted unreached people group

The Haechton Family

Crosslife has adopted the largely unreached Lao Isaan people of Thailand as our primary focus for learning and prayer. Our Sunday School classes have a special emphasis on missions and have begun learning about this region (in the northeast of Thailand), its people, and its needs. The Haechton family, OMF missionaries serving in the Lao Isaan region, are our main partners in proclaiming the Gospel in this area.

Every winter, a group of men from Power Ministry spend one, two, or three weeks in Mexico primarily engaged in building and renovation projects. Please see Paul Chang or Eric Farrow for details.  They can be reached at missions@crosslifecc.com.

Every summer, a group from various churches serves on several Native American reservations in Arizona through VBS and other ministries. Please see Leonard Cheung for more information.  He can be reached at missions@crosslifecc.com.

The next trip is coming up 7/5 to 7/13.  Please pray for:

  • the group members: the Cheung Family, Kim, and Tim
  • humble hearts and team unity
  • evangelism: courage, accuracy, and clarity
  • love for God and people
  • continued relationships
  • safety and health
